Two weeks later

So we brought Josiah home two weeks ago and a number of people are asking for an update on the blog…

Well the reason I haven’t blogged is because the last two weeks have been a crazy time of doing live tv – the weekend that we brought him home we did a live link with Lou Engle on the Saturday Night, then several live links with Rory and Wendy from GOD TV throughout Saturday night and Sunday Morning – and then on Sunday night we launched live 24/7 tv from the prayer room and officially launched our Media Apprenticeship.

Added to this I’ve been trying to get a cute picture of Josiah and I haven’t yet so I’ll post the one that I have.

Basically the update with Josiah is this – today he was 5lbs 8oz – Which is good news – over the last two weeks he has put on a lb. This is the concern that he would grow. He has continued to go to the eye doctor over the past couple of weeks and they are continuing monitoring him for ROP – which is still active.

Beyond that – we are experiencing the life of newborn parents – Josiah pretty much feeds every 2-3 hours, so we are up quite a bit in the night especially if he is gassy and doesn’t settle between feedings.

We are also trying to deal with the implications of paying all the hospital bills – which is a bit daunting, but we know that God is able to provide more abundantly.
